THE AIRPORT RUNNER / Sneaker Design
The Airport Runner is a futuristic take on the traditional sock sneaker silhouette. The runner features a knitted one piece upper, and a streamlined sole with an exposed midsole. The upper sits slightly forward of the sole for a deconstructed aesthetic. The extruded heel allows for easier (step) removability.

Material Application
With manufacturing in mind, this sneaker was designed to reduce as much material usage as possible. Given the sneaker's stripped down, simplistic design, the need for additional materials to achieve comfort-oriented elements is eliminated.
